Photography for folks who want to remember not just what it looked like, but how it made you feel.

what truly matters.

–  I create art that reminds you

emotions, and real memories

moments,

Hey I’m Miranda! I’ve been a wedding photographer for 4 years now and it’s genuinely the best job I’ve ever had. I’ve loved photography since I was 10 years old and got my first camera (shout out mom!!). I live in a self-converted van with my husband, Nathaniel, and we spend most of our time in and around Colorado, New York, and New Jersey.

When I photographed my first wedding in 2021, I could count the number of weddings I’d been to on ONE hand. With a very surface level impression of what a wedding is, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

Over the years I’ve learned that weddings aren’t the perfect spreads you see in magazines. They’re chaotic, emotional, and extremely personal. So much goes into the entire experience and it’s my responsibility to keep my heart and eyes open and just dive right in. I will ride the waves right alongside you and preserve your day exactly how it felt. I love documenting people and weddings because of the richness of life that unfolds in these heartfelt moments. The mess, the tears, the laughter… it’s all innately human and worth remembering.

inclusivity matters

As a bisexual woman married to a straight man, I've struggled with claiming my identity. I'll be the first to admit I carry SO much privilege by being in a straight passing relationship. There are experiences of folks within the LGBTQ community that I will never fully understand because I am protected by the appearance of my relationship. With that being said, I AM apart of this community and it means the world to me to photograph love in all forms. There's so much pressure put on you when you're planning a wedding and the last thing you need is added pressure from a vendor who doesn't fully get you. So, let me make it clear. I'm here for you, no matter who you are or how you express your love. I am honored to celebrate all that you are!

My photography is an exploration of the human experience, captured through intimate moments and the small details that often go unnoticed. I'm drawn to the connections we form with each other, nature, and ourselves. My work seeks to capture the rawness of emotion and the quiet beauty of life’s fleeting moments, inviting you to slow down and truly see.

People are at the heart of my practice! I am fascinated by the vulnerability and strength found in human connection, and I believe that through authentic, honest portrayals of individuals, we can see ourselves more clearly. Whether it’s a fleeting glance, a small touch, or a shared moment in nature, I strive to show the depth and complexity of human relationships, both with one another and with the world around us.
Nature plays a central role in my life and my art. From a sweeping mountain view to a busy city park, the landscapes and natural environments I photograph are not just backdrops but active participants in the stories I tell, reflecting the same vulnerability, strength, and depth that I find in people. Through my lens, I seek to create spaces where both the subject and the viewer can feel seen, understood, and connected.

I aim to create images that resonate and invite a deeper reflection on what it means to feel and be alive. Every frame is an attempt to tell a story of deep emotion and shared humanity. My hope is that my work sparks a moment of recognition within you and reminds you that we are all connected.

I’m weird, passionate, and 100% obsessed with telling your story in the most real way possible.

May 2020

Officially started my photography business! I was primarily doing product photography and headshots for friends. I spent years working side jobs and doing shoots whenever I could!

May 2021 - February 2024

Nathaniel and I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, a 2200+ mile trail from northern Georgia to Maine. We spent 6 months bonding, exploring, and solidifying our passion for the outdoors and each other. It was hard taking that time off from my business, but absolutely one of the greatest experiences of my life!

The Highlight Reel

March - September 2024

Married my best friend and the love of my life, Nathaniel. We had a small backyard wedding at his parents lakefront cabin in the finger lakes region of upstate NY.  This completely changed my perspective on my role as a wedding photographer and brought new energy to my art and business.
